The TV host posted on her Instagram story a photograph of peanut butter filled with pretzel nuggets, which immediately sparked controversy, as she had previously claimed she suffered from a peanut allergy and spoke about it in a 2016 interview. Following the incident, Ms Jamil was reprimanded by an online troll, who accused the star of making up accidents in her past and inventing health scares for press attention.
Another sceptic of the actress’s allergy admission is Piers Morgan, who took to his personal Twitter to congratulate her on the “miraculous recovery.”
Re-tweeting a link from the Daily Mail, Mr Morgan commented: “IT'S A MIRACLE! So happy for you @jameelajamil- hope your other 1,345 virtue-signaling victimhood-craving ailments make similarly miraculous recoveries.”
Ms Jamil was quick to fire back: “There is no cure for you being a pointless, boring, misogynist pr*ck sadly.”
Mr Morgan often likes to have the last word, and this time was no exception, as he wished the actress well amid her “battle” with Munchausen Syndrome.

He scoffed: “Hi Jameela, lovely to hear from you as always, especially as you battle your latest terrible affliction, Munchausen syndrome. I hear it can make ‘victims’ angry & abusive, so I forgive you & wish you well with your treatment.“
Other Twitter users could not resist weighing in with their own opinions on the row.
One said: “ IM OBSESSED WITH THE JAMEELA JAMIL COMPULSIVE LIAR / MUNCHAUSEN THEORY.”
Another replied: “I just have to say... Jameela Jamil's nearly impossible medical history only makes me love her more!”
A third said: “I’m conflicted. as someone that has Ehlers Danlos, I know that it can come with a shit ton of other conditions and I want to believe her but she’s making it really hard.”
It was back in 2016 that Ms Jamil announced that she was allergic to “shellfish and peanuts.”
In an interview with The Mirror she spoke openly about her food and allergy problems.
“I was also born with a severe shellfish and peanut allergy...

“Eventually a blood test revealed I had very high levels of mercury in my system.
“A second dentist discovered that the mercury had been leaking from my fillings, so I’d basically been poisoned for a decade.
“Then the dentist who removed them followed an incorrect procedure and I ingested a lot of mercury, which created holes in my digestive system.”
However, Ms Jamil has now said her allergies have 'cleared up' as she got older.
Although this is possible according to experts, who say nut allergies can disappear over time, the chances of that happening as an adult is rare.
Only 20 percent of children with peanut allergies outgrow it, according to one Mayo Clinic report.
Previously Ms Jamil has divulged candid information about being partially deaf as a child, 'having cancer twice', being left wheelchair ridden by one of two car accidents, having Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
There have also been personal admissions of being diagnosed as Celiac when she was 12, overcoming anorexia when she was a teenager, and being forced out of modelling after a car accident that broke her back.
The growing list of conditions and injuries have prompted followers to speculate that she may have “Munchausen Syndrome.”
Ms Jamil hit back saying that people were "gaslighting" her and that she has had to battle critics her whole life because she suffers from an invisible illness.
